Design Overview
What we accomplished
The AMP team produced a learning mechanism to teach children how to drive an electric wheelchair. We utilized an Arduino MEGA to achieve this. The device depending on which mode is selected will use one of the three inputs: head switches, joystick, or a force feedback joystick. The sensors around the device allow for the force feedback. With the use of velcro and PVC pipes, the head switches are always secure. Sensors are attached in various ways including velcro and screws. Additional details are available in the user manual above.
